Why are people responsible for the corona crisis ( corona says) class 11
Vlad1618 [11]
People are not entirely responsible for the crisis but they 99% contribute to the virus not going away. There are common measures that health care professionals wants us to stay take to stay safe but we as human always want to do things our way. For example, people should wash their hand oftenly or use hand sanitizer but how often do we do that? Don’t get me wrong I didn’t say people don’t go by the rules but the number are small. I went to the mall and mask are required to be wore properly (meditated) there was this guy in the store that only cover his mouth with the mask and his nose was outside. When one of the workers approached him, his response were “me wearing mask will not make the virus to go away.”

If someone heard that and said the same thing to another store, it’s just gonna be spreading. We contribute to the virus spreading and taken over the world

Find a “Golden Line” in Henry David Thoreau’s “Walden”. A golden line is a line that stands out to you as important. It could be
Gala2k [10]
One of the "golden lines" from "Walden" could be: "<span>Let us settle ourselves, and work and wedge our feet downward through the mud and slush of opinion, and prejudice, and tradition, and delusion, and appearance, that alluvion which covers the globe, through Paris and London, through New York and Boston and Concord, through church and state, through poetry, philosophy and religion, till we come to a hard bottom and rocks in place, which we can call </span><span>reality."

This line illustrates the romantic idea of nature as a source of spiritual nourishment. More precisely, nature is here represented as a complete opposite of the civilized and urbanized world, with all of its cultural phenomena. According to Thoreau, we shouldn't be wary of the mud in nature. We should be wary of the real, sticky, burdening mud of civilization, which is so difficult to get rid of. It is the mud of prejudice, opinion, tradition, delusion - everything that the civilized people cling to so ardently.</span>

(GIVING BRAINLYIST) Read the excerpt from the story Animals in the Zoo.
VARVARA [1.3K]

Answer:

In Animals in the Zoo, Ryan's mother assures him that they aren't going to operate. In Winter Driving, Jesper pulls his car over, flexes his hands, and takes a few breaths.

Explanation:

Supporting Detail:

In Animals in the Zoo:

He was scared, and his mother noticed right away.

"Don't worry, we won't be operating on the tamarins today. We are just checking their health and looking at their eyes, ears, and hands during this visit

The public wasn't allowed to see them until Ryan's mother had looked them over and made sure they were healthy.

If these two stayed healthy and appeared to be happy in their enclosure, the zoo would be able to get even more tamarins to fill the exhibit which is why they wanted to make sure they had an expert come in to examine them.

In Winter Driving:

The snow was still falling, and he knew he definitely didn't want to get stuck sleeping in his car. He had come this far, and he was determined to make it all the way home.
