Answer: They worshipped one God

Explanation: Israelis are the first people to officially adopt the belief and worship of one God. Based on this commitment, all other religious and civil laws follow. This means that the religious service, the relation to the divine, the mutual human relations and the laws are aligned with the predominant belief in one God. On the basis of such laws, the behavior of people, their obligations, purification rituals, marriage, family are determined, everything is subordinated to religious orientation. In this sense, there are differences with other ancient peoples, who believed in many gods, and therefore their system of religiosity, religious and social relations were completely different.

What is the summary of the Emancipation Proclamation in one paragraph?
Sunny_sXe [5.5K]
Despite his personal opposition to slavery, when President Abraham Lincoln took office in 1861 he insisted that his constitutional duty was to keep the nation together, not to abolish slavery. He conducted the first year of the war with the goal of reuniting the Union, but wartime events, including heavy military losses and the many slaves who escaped behind Union battle lines, forced him to contend with the issue of slavery. He issued a preliminary Emancipation Proclamation on September 22, 1862 and the final version on January 1, 1863, fundamentally changing the meaning of the war.
