Aside from Anna’s sickle cell disease and type 1 diabetes, she also has urinary tract infection because of weaken immune system. Her infection was cause by Serratia marcescens that led to a severe infection or septic shock, which then impaired the function of certain cells or <span>cause multiple organ failures and the untimely death of Anna. </span>
