Regarding the statement, "Her eye gathers light through her pupil and her lens focuses the light on her cornea," should we chang
Nina [5.8K]

Answer: option "b" is the most correct option. "Don't change pupil, and change cornea to retina".

Explanations:

The eye is the part of the body that aids our vision, it comprises of different parts which works together.

When our eyes focus on an object, light passes through the cornea (which is the outer part of the eye). But some of this light enters the eye through an opening called the pupil. This is why we can still say light enters the eye through the pupil. The iris helps to controls the amount of light the pupil lets in.

This light passes through the lens which works with the cornea to focus light correctly on the retina. This is why we have to change the cornea to retina.

When light enters the retina, this light is turned to photoelectric, by some special cells called receptors. This travels to the brain through the optic nerve for interpretation of the image.
