A moral is a short statement that summarizes the main message of a fable or tale. For example "slow and steady win the race" is
zhenek [66]

According to a different source, this unit includes the stories "I Want to be Miss America" by J.ulia Alvarez and "About Russell" by Rita Williams-Garcia.

<u>"I Want to Be Miss America" by Ju.lia Alvarez:</u> Be happy with who you are.

In this story, the sisters are unhappy with the way they look, as they do not look like the models they see in beauty pageants. As they get older, even when the sisters are called beautiful, their self-esteem remains damaged. This shows the importance of accepting who you are.

<u>"About Russell" by Rita Williams-Garcia:</u> Illnesses affect people, but does not change who they are inside.

In this story, we learn about Russell, and about the difficulties he faced throughout his life due to mental illness. However, the author shows that, even though his illness affected Russell in many ways, he always remained the same person at heart, including being a loving brother.

HELP ME ASAP!!!! (IF YOU ANSWER IT VERY GOOD YOU WILL GET MARKED BRAIN) you will be writing a story about a time you got a scar
Vlad [161]

Answer:

Okay so

You're writing a story. (Sorry mate, I ain't doin your work)

Imagine like you're there, in that person's point of view. Be descriptive. So like you could have fallen, got a scratch, and it scarred, or you could have been stupid like my brother and jumped off a roof and only broke your arm trying to fly when you were younger, describe how the pain felt. Describe what the injury would look like. Was it light? Was it dark? Was it bad? Then Describe on how long it took to heal. like if it was a broken arm, I'd say 4-6 weeks, depending on the break. and if it is a broken arm, did it require surgery? You have to be very detailed in your writing. Good luck there, m'dude.
