Answer:

Phosphofructokinase is an allosteric enzyme that catalyzes the conversion of fructose 6-phosphate to fructose 1,6-bisphosphate, an early step of glycolysis. In the presence of oxygen, an increase in the amount of ATP in a cell would be expected to inhibit the enzyme and thus increase the rates of glycolysis and the citric acid cycle

Explanation:

Phosphofructokinase is also a regulatory enzyme of glycolysis. It is inhibited allosterically by elevated levels of ATP, which act as an energy-rich signal indicating an abundance of high-energy compounds.

Elevated levels of citrates also inhibits it.

While it is allosterically activated by AMP, which signals that the nergy stores are depleted.

What sense organs are located on the head and in the mouth of a fetal pig?
Ratling [72]
The sense organs that are located on the head and in the mouth of a fetal pig are the Ears, mouth, eyes, nose, and tongue. The pig, just like humans, experiences sound, sight, taste, smell, heat, cold, pain and also balance. The way it responds to these assists humans in the recognition of health and diseases. For instance pain and the posture will often indicate a specific disease such as a fracture of the vertebrae in the spine.

How can you tell that the cell below is a eukaryotic cell?
Margaret [11]

Answer:

D. Because it contains membrane-bound organelles

Explanation:

One of the defining features that separates eukaryotic cells from prokaryotic cells would be the organelles, specifically they are membrane-bound. Although prokaryotes also hve organelles, they are not enclosed. This is why they say that eukaryotes have a TRUE NUCLEUS because it is well defined by the membrane that encloses it.

Prokayotic cell organelles are kind of like floating around within its cytoplasm.

Santos and Lüderitz are the same distance from the equator, and both cities are near the ocean. The air temperature in Lüderitz
AfilCa [17]

Answer:

Environmental, spatial and topographical factors.

Explanation:

Air temperature depends on many diverse environmental (vegetation) and geographical factors, being the most important one the altitude on the sea level since this factor can directly affect the amount of radiation received on the Earth's surface. Recently, many meteorological models capable of estimating air temperature under certain conditions have been developed. These computational models consider a multiplicity of factors and use input data that are associated with the topography and the location (e.g., longitude, latitude and altitude).
