All of the following factors contributed to significant growth in worldwide population from 1750 through 1900 EXCEPT a) decline
liq [111]

Answer:

The response is Option D.  New grain crops developed in the Green Revolution is NOT something that contributed to worldwide population growth at that time.

Explanation:

The Green Revolution refers to a push towards technological advancement and agriculturally engineered outputs like high-yielding varieties and crops in the 1950s and 1960s. It was particularly impactful in developing countries where there had yet to be much industrialization or mechanization of food production. Advances in irrigation and the use of chemical fertilizers also helped to increase food production in these areas in the 1950s and 1960s. Research institutes studying specific staple crops were established like the  International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) in the Philippines in 1960.

If a teacher gives a student detention for calling him/her a name/nickname (like Elizabeth) does he/she deserves detention. If y
Flura [38]
Well, I've never heard of a student getting detention for calling their teacher by a nickname, that would be unnecessary and a little over dramatic, don't you think? I think if the teacher doesn't like being called said nickname then the teacher would tell the student to stop calling them by said nickname. But if the student has done it multiple times after the teacher has asked them to stop, then the student would be punished by being sent to the E.R for an hour each day depending on how long the teacher wants you in there (my school's room for students who have done something bad, like a reset room). But detention? That would just be silly.
