9) find the area of the actual garden by doing 12x14, then do the water pond and since it's a square do 4x4. Then subtract the area of the pond from the garden to find your answer

10) I would do 150 divided by 6 (so the total surface area divided by the number of sides) and got 25. So 25 would be the area of one side of the cube. To find a side length take the square root of the area and your answer will be 5
