President John Fitzgerald Kennedy's speech to the West Germans on June 26, 1963 and he gave them a message of hope because they were oppressed by East Germany who were communist and restricted their movements.

He made his stand that democracy is the only system that guarantees prosperity to all Germans. He makes an appeal to people that say that communism is the wave of the future to come to Berlin and see freedom and the real future.
