Here's an answer, with some big 'IF's attached. We can't be
sure of anything, because you never shared the picture of it
that was 'shown above'.

The area of a trapezoid is (1/2) (height) (base-1 + base-2).

Now, IF 'x' is one of the bases, and IF 'y' is the other one,
and IF 'h' is the height of the trapezoid, then

Area = (1/2) (6) (14 + 8)

         =      (3)      (22)  =  66 square units.

But if any of them is not, then it isn't.

Compound Interest: You deposit $100 in an account that earns 3% annual interest compounded continuously. How long does it take t
monitta

9514 1404 393

Answer:

  a) 3.18 years

  b) 13.52 years

  c) 23.10 years

Step-by-step explanation:

Solving for t, we find ...

  A = Pe^(rt)

  A/P = e^(rt)

  ln(A/P) = rt

  t = ln(A/P)/r

For P=100 and r=.03, the times are ...

a. $110: t = ln(110/100)/.03 ≈ 3.18 years

b. $150: t = ln(150/100)/.03 ≈ 13.52 years

c. $200: t = ln(200/100)/.03 ≈ 23.10 years

Ivenika [448]

Answer:

147 seconds to get to the shore(after the 49 seconds)

Step-by-step explanation:

If Pete swam at a constant speed of 50 yards/49 seconds, you just have to multiply that by four, to get 200 yards. If you want the total time from his boat to shore, that is 196. If you want how much longer it would be, it would be 147 seconds

for minutes, just divide by 60
