LABOR: Theodore Roosevelt believed that his intervention was justified when labor-management disputes threatened the public interest. In a time where many workers were joining Unions and proposing reforms, Roosevelt enacted the open shop (place of employment at which one is not required to support an union in order to hire) as official government policy.

CONSERVATION: President Roosevelt was an outstanding conservationist, looking to protect the environment and benefit the whole society from the US's natural resources. He created the United States Forest Service and conserved millions of acres as national forests.

How does capitalism of the High Middle Ages compare with capitalism today?
dezoksy [38]

As you may already know, capitalism arose between the end of the feudal system and the rise of burgesia during the passage from the middle ages to the modern age. At that time, capitalism had many characteristics that equaled the modern capitalism we know today, such as changes in the mode of production of products and services, increased urbanization, and the emergence of new manufacturing techniques that enable commodity prices to be cheapened.

We still have similarities in the improvement of communications and means of transport that facilitate the arrival of products to distant territories.
