Social anxiety disorder is also called social phobia. In this disorder, an individual feels an intense fear when they have to deal with a crowd. They fear, anxiety, phobia of the crowd at an intense level. They feel that they will be judged, interpret negatively in the crowd.

These people were anxious about how they will act or perform in front of people. People who feel a strong fear of crowd have strong physical features such as heart attack, pulse rate increase, high heartbeat, palpitation, etc. These people have unreasonable high anxiety and fear.

They had colonies around the globe, industrialization was good, their music and art were the envy of the world and they could have their pick of whatever they wanted. So, when they said "The world's my oyster" it meant that they could have whatever they wanted at the time.
