The southern colonies were very moist and warm so growing plants was easy. They grew tobacco, indigo, and other plants of that sort.

The middle colonies prduced so much grain that the people started calling them the breadbasket colonies. So things like corn wheat and rye we ground in and abundancy.

The new england colonies was good for fruit and vegetables such as beans squash peas okra tomatoes potatoes and peanuts.
