4. As far as I remember, correct answer looks like this: "Samuel Slater was important to the industrialization of America because he A. used his knowledge to build the nation's first water-powered textile mill." Samuel Slater is known as the father of the American industrialization. It was so revolutionary that Slater employed families to work on his watermill and he founded a watermill village which was called Slatersville. His factory system is known as Rhode Island System. 5. I am completely sure that this one is the best definition of popular sovereignty: D. All government power comes from the people. This is a perfect democracy like in ancient greece. Goverment = people. And government works for people, not people for government. 6. Andrew Jackson believed that A. All adult white males should be allowed to vote. On election day, four of the states canceled land-owning requierments for voters. It was huge step forward for American election system. 7. My answer is: Nullification was the idea that states could nullify, or void C. Any federal law it felt was unconstitutional. It means that every has the right to nullify the law it seems unconstitutional. This theory was first raised in 1798 by Virginia and Kentucky Resolutions.

Although Jesus had died, his message had not. Word of his teachings spread to Jewish communities across the empire. This was helped by energetic apostles, such as Paul and by the modern communications of the Roman Empire.

Spreading the word

Over 30 years, Paul clocked up around 10,000 miles, traveling across the Roman Empire. He preached in some of the empire’s most important cities. Although places like Ephesus, Philippi, Corinth and Athens looked magnificent, they were also home to tens of thousands of poor, desperate people who were the perfect audience for the Christian message of eternal life.

Like Jesus, Paul spoke to people in their homes and synagogues. But he went beyond Jesus, who had only preached to Jews. Paul believed his message should also be taken to gentiles – the non-Jews.
