How did the railroads react to state governments’ legislation during the Gilded Age?
nataly862011 [7]
Railroads approved greatly of the state governments' legislation during the gilded age. For example, one of the biggest pieces of legislation regarded the rules surround eminent domain. This essentially meant that anyone was able to get private ownership of any land for as little money as possible. This meant that the railroads were able to build and develop on land that they had got either for free, or that they had paid very little for.

By defining citizens as anyone born in United States how did this amendment create future conflict
storchak [24]

Well in this country we define citizens as anyone being born as United States citizens as being natural born. They can be from any country and their child may be a citizen of the U.S. This can be controversial but ultimately it does very little for anyone to do this and if so can lead to some conflict on federal or state terms. Besides that you can be a citizen even if you were not born in the US this is either done by immigrating legally and passing various tests or by having one parent be an American citizen. Either or is acceptable.

How did vittoria colonna represent renaissance ideals
Sloan [31]
Vittoria Colonna represented renaissance ideals because Vittoria Colonna was a well known writer, the first secular woman to achieve a high level of literary status in Italy for venacular production, and her example opened the way for subsequent women writers to publish in all manner of genres. She devoted her later years to religion and literature, Michelangelo called her his "sun of suns" and credited her strength for lifting him closer to God.
