Answer:

Cools it down and causes droughts

Explanation:

El Nino is a periodic weather pattern. It developed on every 3 to 7 years, so it is partially predictably. The scientists still can not figure out why is this weather pattern occurring, though they have some basic clues about it. El Nino causes warming up of the eastern part of the Pacific Ocean, but on the opposite side, on the western part of the Pacific Ocean it causes the opposite, it cools down the waters. From Indonesia to Australia, El Nino manages to cool down the temperature because of the cooling off of the waters. The colder waters also contribute to lesser evaporation and condensation, so the rainfall dramatically decreases, causing droughts as well in the western part of the Pacific.

What happens to lava after it erupts from a volcano.
LuckyWell [14K]

When a volcano erupts, the molten rock (or magma) that comes out of the Earth is called lava. Because lava is so hot (more than 1,100 degrees C, over 2,000 degrees F), it remains molten and flows across the ground until it cools and hardens into rock.

hope this helps
