25 PTS!!EXTREMELY EXTREMELY URGENT!!!!!!!!! mr bloss bought 42 pine seedlings and 30 oak seedlings to plant in rows on his tree

farm. he wants each row to have the same amount of seedlings. he wants only one type of seedling in each row
what is the greatest number of seedling he can plant in each row

Step 1: make seedlings in each row equal, means find out the common factors of each kind of seedlings:
42 pine seedlings: 2, 3, 6, 7, 14, 21
30 oak seedlings: 2, 3, 5, 6, 10, 15

Step2: the greatest number of those seedlings above is 6, and the answers are as follows:
1/ greatest number of each row is 6
2/ pine: 42/ 6= 7; oak: 30/ 6= 5

An aircraft manufacturer wants to determine the best selling price for a new airplane. The company estimates that the initial co
Ad libitum [116K]

Answer:

The cost function is simply the initial cost plus the manufacturing cost.

C(x)=500+20x-5x^3/4+0.01x^2

The demand function was given to us.

p(x)=320-7,7x

The revenue function is simply x multiplied by the demand function.

R(x)=xp(x)=320x-7.7x^2

We find that when 20 planes are produced, that profit is currently maximized

We know that to maximize profit, marginal revenue must equal marginal cost.

C'(x)=20-15/4x^-1/4+0.02x

R'(x)=320-15.4x

x=19,57

We find that when 20 planes are produced, that profit is currently maximized.

Step-by-step explanation:

An aircraft manufacturer wants to determine the best selling price for a new airplane. The company estimates that the initial cost of designing the airplane and setting up the factories in which to build it will be 500 million dollars. The additional cost of manufacturing each plane can be modeled by the function: , where x is the number of aircraft produced and m is the manufacturing cost, in millions of dollars. The company estimates that if it charges a price p (in millions of dollars) for each plane, it will be able to sell  planes.

(a) Find the cost, demand, and revenue functions.

(b) Find th eproduction level and the associated selling price of the aircraft that maximizes profit.

A rental car agency charges $160.00 per week $0.15 per mile to rent a car. how many miles can you travel in one week for $257.60
OleMash [197]

Answer:

Firstly Subtract the weekly charge from the total

257.60 - 160 = 97.6

So 97.6 was charged for miles travelled

Since we know one mile is for 0.15, we divide

97.6 ÷ 0.15 = 650.7

Therefore 650.7 miles were travelled.

Mr.Nelson bought a coat on sale for $27 less than third its original price . He paid $54. What was the original price?
MAVERICK [17]

Answer:

$243.

Step-by-step explanation:

We can use algebra here.

Let x = the original price.

Then  1/3 x - 27 = 54

1/3x = 54 + 27 = 81

x = 81 /  1/3

x = 81 * 3

x = $243  (answer).

During each cycle, the velocity (v in mm/s) of a piston is v=6t-6t^2, where t is the time in seconds. Find the displacement "s"
Kaylis [27]

ANSWER

0.84375 mm

EXPLANATION

The velocity function is given by:

v = 6t - 6 {t}^{2}

To find the displacement function, we integrate:

s =  \int \: 6t - 6 {t}^{2}d t

s (t) = 3 {t}^{2}  - 2 {t}^{3}  + c

The initial displacement is zero.

This implies that,

3 {(0)}^{2}  - 2 {(0)}^{3}  + c = 0

c = 0

This gives us,

s (t) = 3 {t}^{2}  - 2 {t}^{3}

After t=0.75s,

s (0.75) = 3 {(0.75)}^{2}  - 2 {(0.75)}^{3}  + c

s (0.75) = 0.84375

The expected value of health care without insurance is $437.25.

The expected value of health care with insurance is $1,636.40.

<h3>What are the expected values?</h3>

The expected values can be determined by multiplying the respective probabilities by its associated costs.

The expected value of health care without insurance = (1 x 0) + (0.32 x 1050) + (0.45 x $225) = $437.25.

The expected value of health care with insurance = (1 x 1580) + (0.32 x 75) + (0.45 x $72) = $1,636.40.
