All of the following are epuivalent forms 9/11 except

8 0

Answer: Except (4) but see detail below

Precisely speaking, \frac{9}{11}=0.\overline{81}=0.818181....

Looking over the choices, only 72/88 = 9/11 is precisely "equivalent" so all of (1), (2), and (4) would be EXCEPT.

But because K12 teachers' language may sometimes be sloppy,  "equivalent"  may also mean "approximate." If that is the case (I let you make the call if the premise is true): the following are definitely not 9/11:

1.22  (is greater than 1)

It could also be that the original question had the "overline" mark to mean "periodic" over the 81 parts, like this:

0.\overline{81}\\0.\overline{8181}

which then means they are equivalent, leaving truly only 1.22 is the one non-match

Assume the random variable X is normally distributed with mean mu equals 50 and standard deviation sigma equals 7. Compute the p
drek231 [11]

Answer:

The probability that <em>X</em> is less than 42 is 0.1271.

Step-by-step explanation:

The random variable <em>X </em>follows a Normal distribution.

The mean and standard deviation are:

E (X) = <em>μ</em> = 50.

SD (X) = <em>σ</em> = 7.

A normal distribution is continuous probability distribution.

The Normal probability distribution with mean µ and standard deviation σ is given by,

f_{X}(\mu, \sigma)=\frac{1}{\sigma\sqrt{2\pi}}e^{-(x-\mu)^{2}/2\sigma^{2}};\ -\infty

To compute the probability of a Normal random variable we first standardize the raw score.

The raw scores are standardized using the formula:

z=\frac{x-\mu}{\sigma}

These standardized scores are known as <em>z</em>-scores and they follow normal distribution with mean 0 and standard deviation 1.

Compute the probability of (X < 42) as follows:

P(X

*Use a <em>z</em>-table for the probability.

Thus, the probability that <em>X</em> is less than 42 is 0.1271.

The normal curve is shown below.

Cy+4=d−9y solve for y
tiny-mole [99]

Answer:

Answer:

y= d−4 /c+9

Step-by-step explanation:

cy+4=d−9y

Step 1: Add 9y to both sides.

cy+4+9y=d−9y+9y

cy+9y+4=d

Step 2: Add -4 to both sides.

cy+9y+4+−4=d+−4

cy+9y=d−4

Step 3: Factor out variable y.

y(c+9)=d−4

Step 4: Divide both sides by c+9.

y(c+9)  c+9 = d−4 /c+9

y= d−4 /c+9
