He was. Back in 2007, he entered the finals as a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers where he lost to San Antonio Spurs 4-0. This was Cleveland's first appearance in the Finals in the franchise history. They didn't win, but they won in 2016 when Lebron returned from his Miami venture and won the title against Golden State.
