Essica and her sister, Nicole, need money for lunch. Jessica receives $50 and buys lunches at the high school for $2.50 each and

Nicole receives $40 and buy lunches at the elementary school for $1.50 each. How many lunches do they have to buy for the two girls to have the same amount of money in their account?
$50 - $1.50x = $40 - $2.50x
$50 - $1.50x = $40 - $2.50x

$50 - $2.50x = $40 - $1.50x
$50 - $2.50x = $40 - $1.50x

$50 + $1.50x = $40 + $2.50x
$50 + $1.50x = $40 + $2.50x

$50 + $2.50x = $40 + $1.50x

Mariana [72]
What you will do (I think) is put in 23 degrees in the place of F. Then do 23-32. From there you will have 5/9(-9). Divide 5 and 9 then multiply that into -9.

The Alpha company has 189 employees that share an office that has 32 floors. If they built another building for 50 employees, ho
maksim [4K]

Answer:

9 floors

Step-by-step explanation:

First, we need to find out how mach people work on one floor so we divide the total number of employees in the first office building by the number of floors that the Alpha company has in that building. And so we get...

189 / 32 = 5.9

but since we can not have the number of people be represented as a fraction we just assume that 6 people work on each floor. And based on this assumption we can find out the number of floors needed in the second building by dividing the number of employees in the second building by 6. And so we get....

50 / 6 = 8.33

But we can not have 8.3 floors we can only have 9 floors.

13. Write a few sentences describing what you have learned about the mean length of the population of 268 words in the Gettysbur
alexira [117]

You can obtain information about the mean population by taking a random sample of it and taking the average of that sample. The Law of big Numbers says that the bigger the sample, the more likely we will be closer to the real mean value. In other words, the margin of error is less likely to be big.
