Life is good! Quarantine is kind of fun, but not as good as getting out of the house. School is definitely much harder. Prices on things are also going up.

Why might it be fruitless to try to sell radical behaviorism broadly within the culture? what might be a more realistic goal?
vitfil [10]

It might be fruitless to try to sell radical behaviorism broadly within the culture as to conceptualize and comprehend the rules of behavior, one must learn a lot. One would be requesting that the other give up most of what they believe to be true about behavior.

Even after being accustomed to the inner workings of behavior analysis, according to Johnston, we still have a tendency to speak in colloquial terms with our friends, relatives, and even coworkers. These conversational patterns developed because they are easy to use and function well for everyday communication.

Making people aware of the fundamental characteristics of behavior as a physical phenomenon and letting them be is a more realistic goal.
