The pilot has to change direction because most of the time, the wind gusts are perpendicular to the destination. Plus the earth has a curvature and over a long flight altitude changes in which the magnitude changes resulting in the resultant.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

In mathematical terms, it is necessary for a pilot to continue to change the direction of an airplane when traveling to its destination because the pilot has to change direction due to the wind gusts are perpendicular to the destination. Plus the earth has a curvature and over a long flight altitude changes in which the magnitude changes resulting in the resultant.

A skatepark has an area of 6000ft2, a length of 60 ft and an unknown width, find the width of the skatepark
aliya0001 [1]

Answer:

The width of the skatepark is 100ft^2.

Step-by-step explanation:

Total area= 6000ft^2

The Formula for area= L x W (depends on the shape, but in this case that is the formula)

Length= 60 ft

Width = 100

60 x 100= 6000ft^2

Hope this helped!

a)y=(rate per week)x+deposit
620=125x+deposit
620=125(4)+deposit
620=500+deposit
620-500=deposit
120=deposit
y=125x+120

Find the missing side lengths. leave your answers as radicals in simplest form.
Murrr4er [49]

Answer:

x = 4 , y = 2

Step-by-step explanation:

Using the sine / tangent ratios in the right triangle and the exact values

sin60° = \frac{\sqrt{3} }{2} and tan60° = \sqrt{3} , then

sin60° = \frac{opposite}{hypotenuse} = \frac{2\sqrt{3} }{x} = \frac{\sqrt{3} }{2} ( cross- multiply )

x \sqrt{3} = 4\sqrt{3} ( divide both sides by \sqrt{3} )

x = 4

and

tan60° = \frac{opposite}{adjacent} = \frac{2\sqrt{3} }{y} = \sqrt{3} ( multiply both sides by y )

y \sqrt{3} = 2\sqrt{3} ( divide both sides by \sqrt{3} )

y = 2
