What is the rate of change in the standard linear form of the equation 3y+6x=12?
IrinaVladis [17]

Answer:

-2 = rate of change

Step-by-step explanation:

3y + 6x = 12

divide both sides by 3

y + 2x = 4

subtract 2x from both sides

y = -2x +4

compare to linear equation

y = -2x +4

y = mx + b

m = rate of change

-2 = rate of change
