Answer:

<h2>The answer is 3/6. That is simplified to 1/2.</h2>

<h2>1/2 of the sweaters are blue.</h2>

<h2>To find the answer you do the blue sweaters over the total of sweaters including the blue ones.</h2><h2 /><h2>That is 3/6.</h2><h2 /><h2>This is the answer but you should always simplify.</h2>

<h2>To simplify, you divide. In this case, divide by 3.</h2><h2 /><h2>3 ÷ 3 = 1</h2><h2>-------------</h2><h2>6 ÷ 3 = 2</h2><h2 /><h2>So the answer is 1/2. </h2><h2 /><h2>\frac{1}{2}   <--------- This is how it looks like as a fraction.</h2><h2 /><h2>Hope this helps, have a great day, stay safe, and positive.</h2><h2 /><h2>:)</h2><h2 />

According to the "January theory," if the stock market is up for the month of January, it will be up for the year. If it is down
PSYCHO15rus [73]

Answer:

The required probability is 0.031918.

Step-by-step explanation:

Consider the provided information.

It is given that According to an article in The Wall Street Journal, this theory held for 22 out of the last 34 years.

Therefore n=34

The probability it is either up or down is 0.5.

Thus the value of p =0.5 and q = 0.5

Now calculate the probability

Let X is the number of years that theory held.

X has a binomial distribution with n=34 and p=0.5

P(X=22)=\binom{34}{22}(0.5)^{22}(0.5)^{12}\\P(X=22)=\frac{34!}{22!\times 12!}(0.5)^{22}(0.5)^{12}\\P(X=22)=548354040\times 5.8207660913\times 10^{11}\\P(X=22)=0.0319184060208\\P(X=22)\approx0.031918

Hence, the required probability is 0.031918.

Help I need help on this question
nikitadnepr [17]

Answer:

x = 8

FE = 54

Its Acute, Isosceles triangle

Step-by-step explanation:

Well you have to do this out of order and use some knowledge about questions, (It always helps.)

Lets do 12 first:

If this were a scalene triangle, you wouldn't be able to solve for it. Because no sides are equal and this isn't equilateral, because it only shows two equal angles. Therefore it is Isosceles.

Also, if this were a right triangle we would see the little square for an angle. It isn't obtuse because if you look at the triangle and its angles it isn't wider than the square (this only works on the ones that are to scale like this one) So again by elimination and some knowledge of the question we figure out that it is an acute scalene triangle

Now we try and find X. Because Angles F, and E are equal, we can make the two sides equal to each other and solve for x.

Add 24 on both sides

8x - 24 = 40

     +24  +24

Divide by 8 on both sides

8x/8 = 64/8

And Voilla

X = 8

Hope this helped! Ask me if you have any further questions!
