The answers are kidney and liver. 

The kidney filters substances that are not good for the body like alcohol. However, it cannot function properly if the person keeps using alcohol. 

Like the kidney, the liver has similar duties of detoxification. Alcohol chemicals are also excreted by the kidney, but it can only filter some amount every day.
