Adjectives are words that are used to describe or modify a noun or a phrase in a sentence. They give more details about the noun. For example, the old man is coming. the word "old" is an adjective, because it modifies or describes the noun "man" giving the listener more details on the noun. In our example, the adjectives in the list are; moist and red, which describes a state of containing water and tells the color of an object respectively. If they are to be used in sentences, the word moist could be used thus; do not bring the moist bag inside the house. "Moist" describes the noun "bag". In the second example; the cake was red, the word "red" describes the noun "cake"
