An Unwritten Novel by Virginia Woolf (excerpt) Which common elements of narrative nonfiction are used in the excerpts?

English

This is a short modernist fiction that celebrates the life of the imagination, and points to its shortcomings. As a narrator, Woolf was in the habit of thinking aloud and talking to herself, as well as to her imaginary readers. Here she takes the process one stage further by ‘talking’ to her own fictional creations. She also shows the process of the artistic imagination at work, raising doubts about its own creations, asking questions, and posing alternative interpretations. She even develops lines of narrative then backtracks on them as improbable or cancels them as invalid, mistaken interpretation, or rejects them as inadequate. In other words, the very erratic process of ratiocination – all the uncertainties, mistakes, hesitations – are reproduced as part of her narrative. She even addresses her own subject, silently, from within the fictional frame, and reflects on fictional creations which ‘die’ because they are rejected as unacceptable:

Someone quick I need the lyrics for Oh ana (Mother mother)
svetlana [45]
Answer: I'll be God
I'll be God
I'll be God
I'll be God, today
Hold my head under the bath and breathe away
Slit my wrists and watch that blood evaporate
Being this Godly can't be good for Ana's safety, Ana hear me
I'll play God
I'll play God
I'll play God
I'll play God, today
Ante up and play that God a poker game
Walk away with all our little God's spare change
Playing this God it can't be good for Ana's safety, Ana hear me
Oh, Ana, I'll be with you still
You are the angel that I couldn't kill
I'll fake God
I'll fake God
I'll fake God
I'll fake God today
Hop up on a cloud and watch the world decay
Ana on my shoulders and we'll laugh away
Faking this God it can't be good for Ana's safety
Ana hear me, Ana baby, I'm not crazy
Oh Ana, oh Ana, oh Ana
I'll be with you still
You are the angel that I couldn't kill
Kill, kill, kill, kill
Oh Ana, I'll be with you still
You are the angel that I couldn't kill
Ana, I'll be with you still
You are the angel that
I couldn't kill
I couldn't kill
I couldn't kill
I couldn't kill
No, I couldn't kill
No, I couldn't kill
No, I couldn't kill, Ana
Oh, Ana

Ipatiy [6.2K]
It influences a lot because, as the story is evolving so is the setting.
It matters because, without setting there's no story.
I believe that setting is the most important part of a story because, it tells u many things..
For Example :

TIME /PLACE /BACKGROUND OF STORY /AND WHERE SOMETHING TAKES PLACE..

in the house, park, pools, hotels, movies, Etc....

How did the anonymous mother’s account of the light differ from other witnesses’ accounts?
damaskus [11]

Answer:

C) She claimed that bizarre noises accompanied the light.

Explanation:

Many people from the town claimed to have seen this phenomenon. Each of their statements have one thing in common: they saw a light of the unknown source. There are ongoing debates about the origin of this strange light, but the existance of the light itself is undebatable. Young mother also states that she saw the light. However, the main difference in her statement is that, besides light, she heard bizzare noises accompanying it.
