Answer:

Explanation:

T Title

 Located at the top of the graph

 Includes both variables

 “The effect of [independent variable] on [dependent variable]”

A Axes  Independent variable is on the X-axis (horizontal)

 Dependent variable is on the Y-axis (vertical)

L Labels

 X-axis is labeled with the independent variable

 Y-axis is labeled with the dependent variable

 Labels on both axes have units in parenthesis following the label (if necessary)

K Key

 Key is included to the side of the graph if more than one data set is included

 Colors, patterns, or shapes clearly distinguish the different bars or lines on the

graph

 Colors, patterns or shapes are clearly identified in a key

S Scale

 Scale and interval on x-axis is appropriate and consistent

 Scale and interval on y-axis is appropriate and consistent

 Reasonable starting points are used for each axis

What process of cellular respiration occurs at the inner membrane of the mitochondrion? (2 points)
Olin [163]
Aerobic Respiration

Cellular respiration involves a series of chemical reactions. The enzymes increase the rate of the reactions. So option “B” is the correct option as far as the given question is concerned. The reactions that are catalysed by enzymes actually helps the organism to grow, respond to various changes in the environment, reproduce and continue maintaining their own structures. Cellular respiration is also considered a part of the metabolism process. This process actually helps in carrying the oxygen through the blood.

How could genetic variation affect new adaptations
kupik [55]

Hello, hope your having a good day :)

How could genetic variation affect new adaptations?

Populations adapt to novel environments in two distinct ways: selection on pre-existing genetic variation and selection on new mutations. These alternative sources of beneficial alleles can result in different evolutionary dynamics and distinct genetic outcomes. Compared with new mutations, adaptation from standing genetic variation is likely to lead to faster evolution, the fixation of more alleles of small effect and the spread of more recessive alleles.

So you may be asking.... why? And how?

There is potential to distinguish between adaptation from standing variation and that from new mutations by differences in the genomic signature of selection. Here we review these approaches and possible examples of adaptation from standing variation in natural populations. Understanding how the source of genetic variation affects adaptation will be integral for predicting how populations will respond to changing environments.

Mandarinka [93]

Answer:

gain, rather than lose, heat by radiation.

Explanation:

The body is can lose the heat by evaporation, radiation, conduction, and convection. The sun transfers the heat on the earth through radiation which we absorb and our body temperature rises. The loss of heat from the body through radiation occurs normally when the air temperature is below 20-degree Celcius.

But in tropical regions, the temperature is very high so the gain of heat by radiation is more than the loss of heat by radiation which can lead to heatstroke in those people who do not have sweat glands because in this condition 85% of heat can be lost by sweating.

Bottled water companies and many other industries remove
klasskru [66]

Answer:

With media exposing a lot of water companies day by day, the concerns related to bottled water are increasing at a high rate.

In some cases, it has been proved that bottled water is actually tap water. Some other cases prove that bottled water companies draw underground water and transport it away without testing of the water. Ground source of water might be considered to have pure water but it still can have mud of infectious agents. Hence, it should be properly tested before sending them to the market.
