This refers to the act of placing crafted artifacts in the tombs of individuals or burying them in the grave alongside the dead. This form of art also includes paying tribute to the dead by building large monuments.
An example of such monument is the Taj Mahal which houses the tomb of Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan favourite wife, Mumtaz Mahal. The Taj Mahal is also home to the tomb of Shah Jahan himself.
