This news had forced Verdeau to ask the elves of Stonewater to assist, making a bond between humans and elves, this bond being the first in centuries. The bond allowed Gabrielle to enter Stonewater without being questioned. In Stonewater, she learned that she was an elf herself, a vital part in the novel as well.
With Gabrielle's truth finally discovered, she becomes very confused. Now that she knows she is an elf as well, is happy to know that she can spend more time with Féolan.
