Mrac [35]

Answer:

Endoplasmic reticulum

Explanation:

The endoplasmic reticulum makes an extensive internal system of membranes in the eukaryotic cells. It makes a system of tubes and sacs that run throughout the cytoplasm. The ER is connected to the nuclear envelop also and serves in the transport of substances and proteins throughout the cells with the help of transport vesicles. For instance, the proteins formed on the surface of rough ER are packed in vesicles that bud off from the surface of rough ER and are carried to the Golgi apparatus for processing.

What moves lymph through the lymphatic system?
solong [7]

The lymph is moved through the body in its own vessels making a one-way journey from the interstitial spaces to the subclavian veins at the base of the neck. Since the lymphatic system does not have a heart to pump it, its upward movement depends on the motions of the muscle and joint pumps.

(d) Referring to Figure 1B, explain why any newly synthesized strand of DNA is the result of both continuous and discontinuous D
stepladder [879]

Answer:

The DNA polymerase is the enzyme which copies in the direction of 5' to 3' in the leading strand and in case of lagging stand it is opposite. that is from the 3' to 5'.

Replication in the 3' to 5' takes place in the fragments which is laid by the Okazaki fragments. These small fragments are kept together by the help of the enzyme known as DNA Ligase. So, called as discontinues

Incase of leading strand, the  strand is in the same direction of the for the process of replication (5' to 3'). So it is continuous.

Hence, the whole process is a combination of continuous and discontinuous DNA synthesis.
