xz_007 [3.2K]
<span>"Their conscription were a failure due to not enforcing to everyone. As such there was not many people to choose from. It weaken Rome because armies need manpower to hold the front since equipment is useless if there is no person to use it. It also didn't enforce it on mostly on the useless people like the rich who don't contribute very much to society and the cooks and bakers who can't cook if all the farmers were conscripted  which would mean no food. Which country did Chiang Kai-Shek lead? A. People's Republic of China B. People's Republic of Korea C. Republic of China D. Demo
klemol [59]

The correct answer is C. Republic of China.

Born on October 31, 1887, Ching Kai-Shek was a military leader who took the lead of the Kuomitang (Chinese Nationalist party) after Sun Yat-sen's death in 1925.

In this period, he worked on two fronts: one against the warlords in the North (groups that prevented the unification of China), the other, against communists in the Kuomitang.

In the 1930s, with China unified, Ching Kai-Shek launched new attacks against the Communists, led at the time by Mao Tse-Tung and Chou En-Lai, forcing them to start the Great March in 1934.

American interference through General George Marshall did not prevent the conflict from continuing, becoming more intense in 1946.

In 1948 the Communists conquered large cities such as Pequin, Shanghai and Canton.

With the victory of Mao consolidated in 1949, he fled to the island of Formosa (Taiwan) where on February 27, 1950 was elected president of the Republic of China.

He died on April 5, 1975 in the capital Taipei, and shortly after, Taiwan became completely independent of China.

What argument did Angelina Grimké make to explain why women should get
andrey2020 [161]

D. Women have greater moral power.

Explanation:

Angelina Grimke's assertion was for the greater moral power of women over men and due to which they should have a greater say in the political decisions of the country.

This view had come up during the 1st wave of rights movements where women were protesting for equal rights.

The argument of Grimke was that the world leaders  were too cunning and never put up a moral standpoint which is important in such decisions.

It would be better to have women on the political front according to her as they have a better moral compass in them.
