A viceroy butterfly is a North American butterfly that is found across entire North America and in part of Mexico and Canada.
The butterfly has marks on its wings that indicate an evolutionary relationship with the prey and predator. Most of the predators of this butterfly are birds that consider it as a food source.
The bird learning to not eat the viceroy butterfly which looks like a monarch is an example of cognitive learning. In which more focus is given on the brain to understand through the learning process such as by gaining knowledge with experience.
