In which sentence is the adjective clause punctuated correctly

English

The poem, which was written in one night, tells a bleak story.

Here we have to keep in mind specific criteria, for the question is to determinate if the adjective clause results essential or nonessential.Anytime, you must decide if the adjective clause is essential or nonessential and then add or omit commas accordingly. Non Essential clauses do require commas.

Then, we move further to decide, according to these criteria, the need or absence of commas. IF written as... The poem tells a bleak story. The clause would turn to be nonessential since we could perfectly erase it and still the sentence could proceed. Whereas as a matter of fact the detail is then added (which was written in one night) and turns, therefore, to be nonessential.

Remember, to properly punctuate an adjective clause correctly. Added is an image to help:

Write a thematic statement of Alfred Green’s speech to Northern slaves during the Civil war, and write one rhetorical strategy t
makkiz [27]

Answer:

"There is no freedom in the country that enslaves part of the population. Therefore, free citizens must set aside controversies and fight not only for the freedom of the oppressed, African-Americans, in this case, but also give them the due respect and due rights they deserve. In addition, African Americans were most interested in freedom and for that they should be willing to fight for it."

Explanation:

The statement shown above is related to Alfred Green's speech to slaves in the North during the Civil War, in addition to using ethos, evoking ethics.

The statement states that it is ethical for white citizens, as equipped with the freedom they have, to allow blacks to fight for freedom, in addition to helping them as citizens who maintain the power of speech and decision in the country. However, the statement also shows that whites must pay due respect to blacks, treating them as citizens and allowing the struggle to really have a progressive ending.

The statement shows that it is not the blacks who are being deprived of their freedom, since they are the most interested in this struggle and therefore must be prepared, available and ready to fight.

This influences blacks to enlist in the army, as it influences whites to allow it and to treat them like an active soldier.

As the name indicates helping verbs are the verbs that help the main verb of the sentence to convey their meaning more effectively or help the main verb to extend their meaning.

Some examples of helping verbs are: is, are, am, can, must, be..

In the given sentence, must is the helping verb, as it is helping our main verb "need" to do convey its function. Really is an adverb and is not a helping verb.

So the correct answer to this question is:

Option A. Must
