Confucianism in the most basic sense revolves around morality, ethics, and development of the human's well being. Aristocrats are people in the upper class of society. These people hold titles, power, and wealth. Since confucianism focused on morality, ethics and development. When confucianism was introduce there was a movement that aimed to removed the titles of the aristocrats. People thought that since one should focus on development of one's well being these titles, wealth and benefits of aristocrats should be removed, since most aristocrats only abuse their power and do as they please without caring for the people beneath them. This then caused the aristocrats dislike confucianism because it became a threat to the power they were holding.
