Answer:

The correct answer is- C. double or single-stranded DNA or double or single-stranded RNA.

Explanation:

All the viruses are intracellular parasites which means they obtain their nutrition from their host. Viruses do not have cellular level of organization. They only have their nucleic acid which is surrounded by a protein coat called a capsid.

The nucleic acid in viruses can be of different types. It can be single or double-stranded DNA or single or double-stranded RNA. Their genome can be linear or circular. They inject their genetic material in their host and introduce it in the host genome. Therefore the correct answer is C.

Explain how a single allele can exhibit both complete dominance and codominance?
zubka84 [21]

Complete dominance is only one allele in the genotype seen in phenotype .Both alleles genotype are seen in the phenotype.

Alleles aren't fully dominant or recessive to one another, but instead display co-dominance and dominance. Co-dominance occurs when Allen show dominance. ABO blood group is good example of multiple alleles which shows co-dominance passed from parents to the offspring.

Dominance in which dominant allele is fully expressed while suppressing recessive allele effect on phenotype.and co-dominance are the process in which both alleles independently work and express effect without mixing the effects. Both are two types of genetic inheritance. It is a condition which has dominant allele does not completely mask the effect of recessive allele.

Which molecules do cells need to release energy? (Can you make it look like 7th grade writing please well if you can)
icang [17]

Answer:

Cells need oxygen and glucose.

Without oxygen, electron transport chain cannot take place and the cells cannot get the energy they need (since the cell uses oxygen to break down glucose which os what produces energy). When the cells cannot perform their function, they die.

In which order will free nucleotides add on to a single strand of DNA with the sequence ATTGCA during DNA replication?
AnnZ [28]
The answer is T A A C G T.

Replication is a process in which DNA molecule is copied, and thereby two identical DNA molecules are produced. Complementarity is achieved through interactions between nucleobases. In the DNA, base complements are adenine - thymine (A-T) and guanine - cytosine (G-C).

So, free nucleotides will add in the following order T A A C G T:
original strand new strand
     A T
     T A
     T A
     G C
     C G
     A T
