What did the sumerians invent?

History

Sumerians are most popular due to how inventive they are. In my opinion, Sumerians were the most inventive and creative thinkers the world has ever seen. Their inventions have truly changed the world.

The Sumerians’ most well-known inventions are; The chariot, the sailboat, wheels, the plow, and much more. Those were, for the most part, invented to make farming and labor of any kind easier. (As the Sumerians were hard working farmers and inventors.)

They also created cuneiform, which is the first ever written language, and the game “Checkers”.

I hope this helps find what you are looking for,

-Austin.

azamat

Answer:

  • The sinking of the Lusitania
  • The Zimmerman Telegram

Explanation:

German submarines attacked and sunk the Lusitania, a British passenger ship. This killed 128 Americans and created tensions between America and Germany.

Germany sent a telegram to Mexico to attack the United States. The United Kingdom was able to intercept the telegram and showed it the United States. The Zimmerman Telegram was the last straw for the United States.
