Sumerians are most popular due to how inventive they are. In my opinion, Sumerians were the most inventive and creative thinkers the world has ever seen. Their inventions have truly changed the world.

The Sumerians’ most well-known inventions are; The chariot, the sailboat, wheels, the plow, and much more. Those were, for the most part, invented to make farming and labor of any kind easier. (As the Sumerians were hard working farmers and inventors.)  

They also created cuneiform, which is the first ever written language, and the game “Checkers”.

It is for certain they invented cuneiform (the first written language). They also invented checkers (the game)...lol.
