The main conflicts faced in Florida resulted from "<span>Territorial disputes with Spain." Spanish Florida as what it is being termed to Spanish territory in Florida, that forms part of the captaincy general of Cuba. Compared to the present day Florida, before the territory was bigger, even extending until what is now the southeastern of United States.</span>
