HOLMES: He is a detective, who has a lot of experience in all kinds of cases and Mr. Wilson turned to him to rule out all his doubts. He uses pure reasoning to solve the most intriguing cases. It has a relationship with the British government, the brother of Holmes is an important member of it.

JOHN CLAY: murderer, thief and fraudulent has a criminal record for grand theft, has arrest warrant and is very wanted. His brain is as cunning as his fingers. Clay claims to be of noble blood, and was well-educated. Holmes called him the fourth smartest man in London.
