Explain the benefits of capitalism. Support your discussion with reasons and evidence.
Lubov Fominskaja [6]
Capitalism is a great economic system for several reasons.

1) Individuals have a significant amount of freedom.- Citizens have the ability to buy whatever products they want, as long as they have the money to pay for it. This allows citizens freedom, as their is no government limiting what they buy on a day to day basis.

2) Businesses compete, which drives down prices- In a capitalist society, there is very little government interference with the economy. This allows businesses to compete against each other. This competition drives down prices because if a business charges an extremely high amount for a good and another business in the same industry charges much less, people will go to the business that charges the least amount.

astra-53 [7]

Nullification is the right answer.

Nullification is a legal provision in the constitution of the U.S, that asserts that a state has the power to nullify, or cancel, any central law which that state has deemed undemocratic with regard to the constitution of the United States. This theory of nullification is based on a belief that as creators of the Federal Government, the states have the ultimate authority to define the limits of the power of that government.

Nixon’s southern strategy involved _____.
dalvyx [7]

The correct answer is B) Criticizing court-ordered busing of school children.

Nixon's southern strategy was focused on how to gain the support of white voters in the deep South. This strategy often had racial undertones. The goal of this strategy was to use this idea of racism as a means to gain support for his campaigns. The criticizing of integrated busing of school children was one way Nixon gained support, as he believed this should have been an issue decided on the state level.
