36 out of 60 in percentage can be logically arrived , since 36 is 30 + 6 , so we can make with two break up of numbers with 30 out of 60 as half of 60 is 30 which is equal to 50% and 6 out of 60 can be treated as 1/10 th of 60 since 6 x 10 = 60 , so 1/10 th part is equal to 10 % , thus 30 = 50 % AND 6 = 10 % AND TOTAL OF 50 % + 10% = 60 % ; 
The same can be treatised mathematically : 36 / 60 x 100 = 6 x 6 / 6 x 10 x ( 100 ) = 6 x 10 = 60%
