How does Columbus describe the people of Hispaniola? List at least three pieces of evidence from the passage.
wel

Answer:

He described them as essentiallu malleable.

Explanation:

He states "I saw that they were very friendly to us", meaning they had goodwill towards Columbus and his man. Then mentioned " they to be a very poor people...Weapons they have none." So the island he came upon was made of simple living people good natured people. Which lead him to the conclusion that they ,"would be good servants... and very readily become Christians." So he saw them as essentially malleable for his goal to conquer lands and gain wealth for his King and Queen.

kaheart [24]
One of the most notable protests took place in the spring of 1932 as VETERANS marched from all over the country and converged on Washington, D.C., to demand a BONUS PAYMENT. The bonus was due these men in 1945, but economic circumstances led them to plead for an early payment. Over 20,000 men and their families formed a Hooverville on the Capitol mall hoping to be heard. Instead of meeting their demands or listening to their concerns, Hoover called in the U.S. Army, under the command of GENERAL DOUGLAS MACARTHUR, who, by engaging THE BONUS ARMY, scattered the men and their families.

"The Bonus Army" is how the veterans' march was known. The overreaction by President Hoover and General MacArthur did not help Hoover when he was running for reelection that year. Franklin D. Roosevelt defeated Hoover by an Electoral College landslide of 472 to 59.
