If the FDIC decides that a bank is too big to fail, it will use the method purchase and assumption, effectively ensuring that no depositors will suffer losses.

Option B

Explanation:

The process by which a healthier bank purchases the assets and assumes the liabilities from a failing or unhealthier bank is known as purchase and assumption method. The liabilities includes all the deposits that are insured. This is the most preferred method to deal with the banks that are failing and is used by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC).

FDIC provides deposit insurance to the depositors in saving institutions or commercial banks in US. The 1933 Banking Act which was enacted using the Great Depression created the FDIC to re-establish the trust in the banking system of America.

By the purchase and assumption method even if any banks fails, the depositors in that bank will not get affected and they will get paid by the bank that purchases the assets and assumes the liabilities from the failing bank.

bulgar [2K]

Answer:

Law of Effect.

Explanation:

Edward L. Thorndike (1874-1949) was an American psychologist and researcher, and one of the pioneers of behavioral psychology. Thorndike's experiments with cats led him to discover a psychological pattern he called the Law of Effect. According to this law, if faced with similar or recurring situations, we tend to repeat the behaviors that resulted in satisfying or positive consequences, while we don't tend to repeat the behaviors that resulted in unpleasant or negative consequences. One application of this principle was a learning method based on rewards and punishments called operant conditioning, developed by another well-known American psychologist and author, B. F. Skinner, in the early 20th century.

deff fn [24]

Answer: Stressor overload

Explanation: When two have been married for ten years as Ian and Joanne, then there are many problems that have not been resolved, not all, but there are many unresolved, and new ones always appear. All these problems arise from the large number of requests made each new day and require the reaction of the married couple in response. When these reactions are perceived as problems, sometimes for real reasons, sometimes for unrealistic ones, then these demanding reactions are experienced as problems, which become larger and cause new problems. The moment when the number of these problems becomes too large, it causes a certain breaking point in the physiological and psychological aspect of human beings, which is stressor overload. Then people become vulnerable to each and every problem due to the accumulated stress, and often cannot cope with problems that were once easily resolved.
