The following statements is accurate: B. Nonfiction doesn't depend on a plot.

Further explanation

“Fiction” refers to literature created from the imagination. Mysteries, science fiction, romance, fantasy, chick lit, crime thrillers are all fiction genres. In general, fiction refers to plot, settings, and characters created from the imagination. There are three main types of fiction: the short story, the novella and the novel.

“Nonfiction” refers to literature based in fact. It is the broadest category of literature. While nonfiction refers to factual stories focused on actual events and people. There are four types of nonfiction: Narrative writing (this type of nonfiction tells a true story about a person, event, or place), expository writing (the purpose of this type of nonfiction writing is to explain or inform a reader about a certain topic), persuasive writing ( intends to convince readers to believe in an idea or opinion), descriptive writing (to describe a person, place or thing in such a way that a picture is formed in the reader's mind).
