4 0
Andrew answered 34 questions correctly.
I got the answer by divided the 85% by 100% (100% because it's the total percentage.) I received 0.85 when dividing that. Then, I took the 0.85 and divided it by the total of 40 questions, and that gave me the answer of 34.

Determine 4th term in the geometric sequence whose first term is -2 and whose common ration is -5.
anygoal [31]

Answer:

a_{4} = 250

Step-by-step explanation:

To obtain any term in the geometric sequence multiply the previous term by the common ratio r

here r = - 5 and a_{1} = - 2, hence

a_{2} = - 2 × - 5 = 10

a_{3} = 10 × - 5 = - 50

a_{4} = - 50 × - 5 = 250

Original price of a cell phone is 154.99$ the discount is 20% what's the price off
Irina-Kira [14]
To get 10 % you have to divide by 10 .
so 154.99 ÷ 10 = 15.499.
that's 10% but you want 20% so you times 10% by 2.
15.499 X 2 = 30.998.
154.99 - 30.998 = 123.992.
you then need to round the answer so you get $123.99
Hope this helps!!

The estimated total cost, y, of a child’s toy is partially based on the number of batteries used, x. The cost of one battery is
mixas84 [53]

Answer: The equation that represents the give situation is, y = 0.75 x + 12

Step-by-step explanation:

Here, x represents the number of batteries the child bought and y represents the total cost.

Since, the cost of one batteries = $ 0.75

⇒ The cost of x batteries = 0.75 x

The cost of one toy = $ 12

Hence, the total cost = The cost of one toy + The cost of x batteries

= y = 0.75 x + 12

Which is the required equation that represents the given situation.
