-1(x + 2) = 2(3x - 6)

First, simplify 1 × (x + 2) to (x + 2) / Your problem should look like: -x - 2 = 2(3x - 6)
Second, expand. / Your problem should look like: -x - 2 = 6x - 12
Third, add x to both sides. / Your problem should look like: -2 = 6x - 12 + x
Fourth, simplify 6x - 12 + x to get 7x - 12. / Your problem should look like: -2 = 7x - 12
Fifth, add 12 to both sides. / Your problem should look like: -2 + 12 = 7x
Sixth, add -2 + 12 to get 10. / Your problem should look like: 10 = 7x
Seventh, divide both sides by 7. / Your problem should look like: \frac{10}{7} = x
Eighth, switch your sides. / Your problem should look like: x =  \frac{10}{7}

Answer: x = \frac{10}{7}

-1(x+2)=2(3x-6)
-1(x+2)=2(3x-6)distributhing -1 through parantheses
-1x+(-1)*2=2(3x-6)
-x-2=2(3x-6) distributhing 2 through parantheses
-x-2=2*3x-2*6
-x-2=6x-2*6
-x-2=6x-12    add x
-2=6x-12+x
-2=7x-12        add 12
-2+12=7x
10=7x       divide by 7
x= \frac{10}{7}
Answer : x= 1 3/7

If the number of trials is 50. Then the probability that he will not roll a 3 on his next roll will be 0.20 or 20 %.

How to find that a given condition can be modeled by binomial distribution?

Binomial distributions consist of n independent Bernoulli trials.

Bernoulli trials are those trials that end up randomly either on success (with probability p) or on failures( with probability 1- p = q (say))

Suppose we have random variable X pertaining to a binomial distribution with parameters n and p, then it is written as

The probability that out of n trials, there'd be x successes is given by

P(X = x) = ⁿCₓ pˣ (1 - p)ⁿ ⁻ ˣ

Sawyer conducted an experiment in which he rolled a number cube 50 times. He rolled the number 3 a total of seven times.

Then the probability that he will not roll a 3 on his next roll will be

p = 1/6 = 0.1667

q = 1 - p = 1 - 1/6 = 0.8333

Then the probability will be

P = ⁵⁰C₇ (0.8333)⁴¹ (0.1667)⁷

P = 0.20

Find measure of angle E
ki77a [65]

The measure of ∠E will be equal to 38°.

Given,

m∠BFE = 118° and m∠C = 86°

And BF bisects ∠ABD

From the Property of Linear Pair,

∠AFB + ∠BFE = 180°

=> ∠AFB + 118° = 180°

=> ∠AFB = 62°

Now, we can see that ∠AFB and ∠FBD are equal because they are alternate angles.

And ∠FBD and ∠ABF are equal because BF bisects ∠ABD.

So, In ∆ABF,

∠AFB + ∠ABF + ∠BAF = 180° (because of the angle sum property of a triangle)

=>62° + 62° + ∠BAF = 180°

=>∠BAF = 180° - 124°

=> ∠BAF = 56°

Similarly, in ∆ABE,

∠A +∠C  +∠E = 180°

=> 56° + 86° + ∠E = 180°

=> ∠E = 38°

Therefore, m∠E = 38°.

6•12 ÷ √36 -4 ÷2+(8-5)
saveliy_v [14]

Answer: 6•12 ÷ √36 -4 ÷2+(8-5) = -21

Step-by-step explanation:it's -33 because PEMDAS first perenthese 8 - 5 = 3 then exponents the square root of 36 is 6 then multiply and divide left to right we can multiply 6 times 12 which equals 72, then we divide 72 ÷ 6 = 12 and 12 • -4 = -48 and -48 ÷ 2 = -24 and then we add and subtract left to right -24 + 3 = -21, So the answer is -21.

What is the relationship between the 1's in 911,147,835
hichkok12 [17]
Find the relationship of 1’s in the given number.
given number = 911 147 835
before we are going to determine the relationship of 1’s , let’s give each digit’s place value.
9 hundred million
1 ten million
1 million
1 hundred thousand
4 ten thousands
7 thousands
8 hundreds
3 – tens
5 - ones
Now, we have the 1 ten million, 1 million, and 1 hundred thousand
What is the relationship of the 3.
=> we’ll those 1’s are 10 times greater with each other
=> 1 million is 10 times greater than 1 hundred thousands
=> 100 000 x 10 = 1 000 000
=> 1 ten million is ten times greater than 1 million
=> 1 000 000 x 10 = 10 000 000
