Answer:

f(x) = \frac{1}{16}x^2

Step-by-step explanation:

If the graph of the function y=f(hx)  represents the transformations made to the graph of y= f(x)  then, by definition:

If 0 the graph is stretched horizontally  by a factor \frac{1}{h}

If h> 1 the graph is compressed horizontally by a factor \frac{1}{h}

In this problem we have the parent function y=x^2 And we know that it stretches horizontally by a factor of 4

Therefore

0  and h=\frac{1}{4}

The transformation is:

y=f(\frac{1}{4}x)

And the function is:

f(x) = (\frac{1}{4}x)^2

PLEASE HELP ASAP!!!! 50 POINTS!!
Kamila [148]

Answer:

Hope this helps!!

Step-by-step explanation:

2ya and 2yb where a and b have no common factors and a and b are polynomaals

a=(x+2)(x+3)

b=(x+4)(x+5)

no common factors betwen a and b

so

2ya=2y(x+2)(x+3)=2yx²+10xy+12y

2yb=2y(x+4)(x+5)=2yx²+18xy+40y

the 2 polynomials  are  2yx²+18xy+40y and 2yx²+10xy+12y

How heavy is 24 carat gold?
fomenos
<span>24k gold is also called pure gold or 100 per cent gold. This means that all 24 parts in the gold are all pure gold without traces of any other metals. It is known to be 99.9 per cent pure and takes on a distinct bright yellow color. There is no higher form of gold than 24K and you must be aware of this before you go to a dealer who might tell you that they’re selling you 25K or 26K gold. Since this is the purest form of gold, it is naturally more expensive than 22K or 18K gold. However, this type of gold is lesser in density as compared to gold of a lower karatage which makes it soft and pliable. Hence, it is not suited for regular forms of jewellery. Coins and bars are mostly bought of 24K gold purity. 24K gold is also used in electronics and medical devices such as those used for children suffering from ear infections who are fitted with gold tympanostomy tubes that are known to improve aeration of the middle ear.</span>

5120 m/s converted to km/h
tensa zangetsu [6.8K]

Answer:

18,432 Km/ h

Step-by-step explanation:

Using the conversions

• 1 Km = 1000 m

• 1 hour = 60 × 60 = 3600 seconds

Then

5120 m = \frac{5120}{1000} = 5.12 Km and

5.12 Km × 3600 = 18,432 Km / hour
