What do the discoveries of shells used in jewelry and a huge dredged canal tell us about the Indus Valley civilization?

The shells are evidence that the Indus Valley had some connection with coastal people. The canal is evidence that Indus Valley people may have used boats to transport themselves and trade with people in coastal cities. I hope i helped <3
