Here we find how many pounds he lost (which is 33) then divide that by 6 (because he weighed himself 6 months later) which then we get the fact that jack lost 5.5 pounds a month.

Hope i could help you out here! :)

Find the sum. 13(9−6m)+14(12m−8)
FinnZ [79.3K]
To do this problem, we must first distribute the 13 and 14 into the parenthesis.

13(9−6m)+14(12m−8)

117 - 78m + 168m - 112

To combine like terms, we can add/subtract terms that have an "m" together and then we can add/subtract terms that do not have "m" together.

117 - 112 = 5
and
168m - 78m = 90m

So our final sum is 5 + 90m

Answer:

The center of the circle is (13.4, - 2.6).

Step-by-step explanation:

Circle:

 • The diameter of a circle is 2 times of its radius.
 • The area of a circle is \pi r^2, where is the radius of the circle.
 • The circumference of a circle is 2\pi r, where r is radius of the circle.

We know that, the equation of circle is in the form

(x-\alpha)^2+(y-\beta)^2= r^2

where (\alpha, \beta) is the center of the circle and r is the radius of the circle.

Given equation of circle is

(x-13.4)^2+(y+2.6)^2=100

The center of the circle is (13.4, - 2.6).

The radius of the given circle is \sqrt{100} units=10 units.
