The Neolithic Revolution describes a change across human cultures, that saw a transition from a hunter and gatherer lifestyle to one of agriculture and settlement. Settled communities allowed humans to learn about the growth and development of plants, and this lead to the domestication of plants This change made way for an increasing larger population with more definite forms of new labor, and accumulation of goods and tools. With a surplus of food and availability of milk and grains mothers were able to raise both older and younger children, which made way for a rapidly increasing population. Therefore the correct answer is that the Neolithic revolution allowed women to have more children and devote more time to child care. Feminist scholars point out that this encouraged gender inequality and brought about deep social divisions.

The answer is "Have more children and devote more time to childcare". The Neolithic Revolution primarily establish the change from a nomadic to a sedentary way of life. This change had an impact in the gender roles. In regards to the women role in society, there was a change from gathering seeds, fruits and vegetables to a role more passive inside a house making clothes and devoting more time to child care. Now that there was surplus of food, and there was no constant worries for survival, the families could have more children.
